! We are seeking a dedicated part time (2-3 days a week) Mammography Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality mammography procedures to assist in early detection and diagnosis of breast health issues. Your expertise will contribute to patient care by providing accurate imaging results while ensuring a comfortable and reassuring experience for each patient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, state-of-the-art healthcare environment committed to excellence in diagnostic radiology. Must have Ohio ARRT (M) licensure.NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS OR NIGHTS!

Responsibilities Prepare patients for mammography procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam Operate mammography equipment with precision, adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis Maintain detailed patient records, imaging logs, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards Monitor equipment performance regularly, troubleshoot issues promptly, and coordinate maintenance or calibration as needed Uphold patient safety standards by following radiation safety guidelines and maintaining a sterile environment Skills Extensive knowledge of mammography techniques and equipment operation Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to breast imaging and general medical imaging practices Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in medical imaging environments Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through advanced diagnostic imaging.
