Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into an important role providing high-quality MRI imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled MRI Technologist who brings technical expertise and a patient-focused mindset to their work.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR preferred) Experience operating MRI imaging equipment Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and MRI protocols Ability to ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills CPR/BLS certification required Previous experience in a hospital or clinical MRI setting strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans according to established protocols Operate MRI equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images Review images for clarity and consult with radiologists as needed Maintain clear and thorough patient records and imaging documentation Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and address concerns Clean and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly Adhere to all HIPAA and facility safety policies This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a progressive healthcare team, bringing your MRI skills to serve patients with precision and care.
