Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Lead Computed Tomography Technologist to supervise CT operations at partner facilities, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient-centered care. In this leadership role, you'll coordinate daily workflow, mentor CT technologists, optimize protocols, and collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to deliver accurate, timely diagnostic studies. Responsibilities include quality assurance, equipment oversight, safety and compliance with radiation and regulatory standards, and support of training and onboarding. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily CT imaging workflow across assigned facilities Perform and oversee CT examinations ensuring high-quality diagnostic images Optimize and maintain CT imaging protocols in collaboration with radiologists Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to CT technologists and new staff Monitor and enforce radiation safety and infection control standards Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission) Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance or service requests Review image quality and participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and ordering providers regarding studies Document procedures accurately within PACS/RIS and electronic health record systems Required Skills Computed tomography (CT) imaging ARRT (R) certification ARRT (CT) certification Radiation safety and dose optimization CT protocol development and optimization PACS/RIS and EMR documentation Quality assurance and image quality review Staff supervision and workflow coordination Knowledge of regulatory/accreditation standards Patient care and IV contrast administration
