Position Details:
CT Technologist (Non-Exempt)Shift:
Nights, 7pm-7amStatus:
Full-time, 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts)Location:
Mercy Hospital Logan County - Guthrie, OK The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.Experience:
no experience required.Licensure:
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.Certification/Registration:
Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire (provided by Mercy during training if not already certified).Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Proficiency in operating imaging equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Physical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
