Job Description
Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality care and advanced imaging services as a skilled CT technologist. In this contract role, you will play a central part in providing exceptional diagnostic support for clinical teams and patients, using your expertise in computed tomography (CT) to capture accurate diagnostic images. Your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to patient-centered care will ensure the success of each scan while fostering a positive patient experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid ARRT certification in CT (Computed Tomography) Current state licensure as required for practice Minimum of one year of recent experience performing CT imaging procedures Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated PACS systems Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environmentKey Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure Process and deliver high-quality CT images for diagnostic interpretation Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize exam outcomes Document patient histories and imaging details in electronic medical records Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards to ensure patient and staff well-being This contract opportunity offers a chance to work with a dedicated clinical team and gain valuable experience in a supportive healthcare setting.
