Responsibilities include performing clinical diagnostic radiology films as directed by providers, ensuring radiation protection for patients and staff, properly positioning patients for procedures, and managing film or digital image development and storage . Additionally, the role involves performing EKG testing and the Holter Monitor process .
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program . Registered or registry eligible with ARRT. Must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to providing direct patient care. Skills and qualities include attention to patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and familiarity with EKG and Holter monitoring procedures.
