1 Description American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience and
ARRT CT/R
certification. Details Short term acute care teaching hospital setting with 59 total staff beds Sole CT technologist working overnight shifts Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM Weekend overnight coverage required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 2000-0800) 1:1 patient ratio No on-call requirements No position floating between units Epic charting system preferred GE and PACS equipment used Performs CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest with and without contrast Vascular imaging including CTA and pulmonary embolism studies Requirements Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required BLS certification required Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission License required if applicable Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement preferred Skilled in image display and post processing Experience preparing and administering contrast media Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture preferred Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety Comfortable working adult acute care and ICU settings Must be comfortable working as the sole overnight CT technologist Additional Information Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions Support emergency department and ICU patient populations Scrubs of any color accepted for this role No parking fees at this facility Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50 mile radius Former Providence permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period First-time travelers considered for this assignment
