AM Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. This role is responsible for performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and accurate imaging results. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently during overnight weekend shifts and capable of supporting a variety of imaging needs within the hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for inpatient and emergency department patients Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging examinations Operate CT and radiographic imaging equipment safely and efficiently Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining radiation safety standards Monitor patient condition and provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures Verify physician orders, patient identification, and imaging protocols prior to exams Accurately document procedures and patient information within the EPIC electronic medical record system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain imaging equipment cleanliness, functionality, and readiness for use Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Previous CT Technologist experience required Experience performing both CT and X-ray procedures required First-time travelers accepted Ability to work independently during overnight shifts required Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills required
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current ARRT Certification required Oregon state licensure required if applicable Current BLS Certification preferred
Schedule & Additional Information:
