Non-Exempt Schedule:
7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday Your role with us Join our small but mighty outpatient imaging team at State Street Imaging, where you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered X-ray services in a fast-paced setting. As a team completing 80-120 exams per day! You'll use your clinical judgment to produce accurate diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure, adapt exams based on patient needs, and ensure thorough documentation using systems like EPIC, PACS, and Radiant. You'll work with GE and Canon equipment, support safe operations and ALARA standards, and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment by assisting with patient care tasks as needed. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives in orthopedic-focused imaging, enjoys working efficiently and independently, and values being part of a close-knit, supportive team. What you'll do Select appropriate radiation exposure settings based on the patient's body type and condition. Capture high-quality images, tailoring exams to meet the specific needs of each patient. Document thorough and relevant patient histories, including symptoms and onset. Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine care, identify malfunctions, and report issues to ensure minimal downtime. Utilize Radiant Radiology, EPIC, and PACS systems for imaging requests, documentation, and charge entry. Required qualifications Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program. Licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.
