Full Job Description Role Overview:
Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating equipment, and maintaining related records.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams with proper patient positioning and exposure techniques. Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently. Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices. Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to guide examinations. Assist physicians during procedures. Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities. Contribute to educational training of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. The role requires technical expertise in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, equipment operation, patient assessment, and record keeping. Strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
