SUMMARY OF JOB

Under the Direct supervision of the Supervisor, Technologist provides Radiologic care to patients by performing Cat Scan exams for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment while performing high quality images for interpretation by the Radiologist.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of a two year A.M.A. approved School of Radiologic Technology A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) Certification. New graduates - 1 year from hire to pass CT boards. Formal cross sectional anatomy education preferred. CPR Certified Basic knowledge of computers preferred One hour of annual stroke education

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

A.R.R.T. Certifications Must maintain 24 CEU's every two (2) years

Stroke Education:

(1) hour annually
