• Location
• : Suburban Outpatient Pavilion, Norlanco Outpatient Center and Lancaster General Hospital (LGH) in Lancaster, PA

• Sign-On Bonus:

• Up to $10,000.00 prorated on hours worked per week with a 2-year commitment. Internal and external eligible candidates only.
• Schedule
• : Full time (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday from 6:30a.m.-5:30p.m., up to 5 backup on-call rotation every other year.

• Position Summary:

• Under the direction of the radiologist, the MR technologist performs a variety of MR procedures on pediatric and adult patients. They have the ability to perform all MR procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning, magnetic field safety and cross-sectional anatomy.

• Essential Function:

• + Obtains patient history, explains the procedure, gains consent for contrast material administration and address any patient concerns prior to beginning the procedure.

+ Performs all necessary checks for accuracy of the prescription, precertification/authorization if required by individual insurance companies, Soarian order and patient identification. + Perform all MR procedures following the appropriate imaging protocols. + Compiles and reviews images, provides applicable comparison studies, and prepares documentation for interpretation. + Performs quality control testing as required. + Clean, adjust and perform routine maintenance on equipment; stock and replenish supplies as required.

• Required Qualifications:

• + Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic technologists (ARRT).
