Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital imaging role and play an essential part in enhancing patient care as an MRI Technologist. In this contract position, you'll work with advanced MRI equipment and collaborate with a supportive team, ensuring accurate results and a smooth experience for every patient. Responsibilities will include performing high-quality MRI scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to all established safety and regulatory protocols. Success in this role requires strong communication abilities for interacting with patients and healthcare staff, along with attention to detail in imaging procedures and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist. Demonstrated experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital setting. In-depth knowledge of MRI safety and proper operation of imaging equipment. Proficiency in managing patient flow and explaining procedures to patients clearly. Ability to follow established protocols and maintain accurate documentation. Excellent interpersonal skills, promoting patient comfort and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures as prescribed. Ensure patient safety and comfort, including thorough screening and precise positioning for scans. Maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition, reporting any malfunctions promptly. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging needs and deliver timely, accurate scans. Document all aspects of imaging procedures and patient interactions in accordance with facility standards.
