PRN rotating hours as needed General Summary Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.

Essential Functions:

Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at a beginner level: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures), complex portables, or trauma procedures. Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures Properly processes images using digital technology Evaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%. Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.

Assesses and interprets patient age specific data and provides appropriate, age specific treatment. Provides direct patient care to assigned patient age group(s). Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; is a positive change agent, and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
