CAT Scan Technologist
  • Per Diem Location:
    Paoli Hospital
  • Main Line Health Shift:
    Varied Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
  • Occasional Weekend and Holiday Rotations Position Summary The CAT Scan Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures while exercising professional judgment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
This role requires maintaining standards consistent with medical ethics and organizational values, delivering safe and appropriate care to all patient populations, and working independently in the provision of services. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Verify patient clinical history and ensure accuracy of imaging orders Prepare and educate patients for procedures to ensure safety and comfort Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and compassion Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the care team
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year of recent CT experience preferred
Education:
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure/Certifications:
ARRT (R) certification required ARRT (CT) certification preferred IV certification preferred (or must obtain by end of onboarding/training) BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required Benefits Employee discounts on various services and vendors Free employee parking Strong Promote from within Culture!
