The diagnostic technologist, under the direction of a radiologist and imaging leadership, with minimum supervision, must maintain the daily function of the Diagnostic Radiology department, performing a variety of X-Ray procedures.
Experience:
Minimum of one year preferred as a registered technologist.
Education & Licenses:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. AAS degree preferred. ARRT(R) Certification required within six months For NY sites: NYS DOH License for
Radiologic Technologist Essential Functions:
Performs Radiographic procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies. Practices safe patient care Performs proper equipment upkeep, including daily QA procedures Utilizes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel. Additional duties as assigned and warranted On Call shifts where applicable Oversee and instruct students in the clinical setting where applicable
