As a Diagnostic Technologist Advanced, you'll perform a broad range of imaging procedures independently while applying critical thinking, technical expertise, and clinical judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. What You'll Do Perform advanced imaging procedures with a high level of independence and technical proficiency. Assist with quality assurance initiatives, regulatory testing, research projects, and technical advancements within the department. Perform all responsibilities associated with the Diagnostic Technologist I role. Operate and demonstrate competency with specialty imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, operating room procedures, and other advanced applications. Analyze imaging data promptly and accurately to support efficient patient care. Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and laboratory draw functions when applicable. Support and monitor quality control activities to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. Deliver exceptional patient care using the latest imaging protocols, technology, and best practices. Function independently across various shifts and settings, including on-call responsibilities and satellite locations when needed. Collaborate with radiologists on protocol development and imaging optimization initiatives. Participate in system-wide standardization and continuous improvement projects. Assist with training, mentoring, and developing staff and student technologists.
