• FTE•1 •Job Description•York Hospital Diagnostic Radiology•Full Time (80 hours/pay period)•Nights•10:00p-8:00a rotation with weekends, holidays, and on call•General Summary•Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.

• Responsibilities

• + Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.

+ Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at a beginner level: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures), complex portables, or trauma procedures.

+ Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.

+ Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure.

+ Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures

+ Properly processes images using digital technology

+ Evaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%.

+ Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed.

• Licenses:
• + Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required and + Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Courses and Training:
