Performs general and specialized MRI studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients before and during examinations. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Reports equipment malfunctions.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred, two years of college preferred.
Licensure:
Possession of either an ARRT Registry in MRI or an ARMRIT Registry in MRI. Alternatively, possession of a California CRT and obtaining an ARRT or ARMRIT within 18 months of working at SDI. Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
Experience:
Six months to one year experience as an MRI Technologist.
Skills:
Ability to perform as a working MRI Technologist.

Compensation Structure NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1-5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan.
