What you'll do Perform portable diagnostic X-ray exams in assisted living, skilled nursing, and home settings per physician orders Operate and transport mobile radiographic equipment safely and efficiently Position patients with care and adapt technique to bedside and in-home conditions Explain procedures clearly and keep patients comfortable, informed, and covered Transmit images promptly and document each study accurately and completely Clean, handle, and perform routine QC on imaging equipment between visits Communicate with facility nursing staff, ordering providers, and our clinical team What you need ARRT (R) certification - required Active New Jersey radiologic technologist license Current BLS/CPR certification Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel between sites in New Jersey Solid grounding in radiation safety and positioning Comfort working independently - you'll often be the only imaging professional on site Strong patient communication skills and a patient, unhurried bedside manner Nice to have (not required) Prior portable, mobile, or outpatient X-ray experience Experience with geriatric patients, assisted living, or skilled nursing Familiarity with digital/DR portable systems and PACS transmission Ready to apply?
