Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled CT/PET Technologist is sought for a contract opportunity supporting emergency room imaging needs. This position offers a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced imaging technology and an opportunity to be a crucial part of patient care during critical moments. The role requires a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in collaborative settings and demonstrates strong technical knowledge.
Schedule/Hours:
3x12 hour night shifts, 3:00pm - 3:30am (40 hours per week) Rotating schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday No on-call; weekend shifts required
Required Qualifications:
Valid Rhode Island technologist license (RI) National certification: RT(R)(CT) Current BLS certification Proficiency with Siemens Definition AS+ and
GE VCT 64
Slice scanners Experience with Medrad injectors; GE PACS and Epic EHR experience highly desirable Must meet hospital vaccination policy: COVID and flu required, booster required unless medical declination (no religious declinations accepted) Ability to follow hospital dress code (scrubs; no hooded sweatshirts)
Role Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging, primarily for emergency room patients Operate and troubleshoot Siemens and GE imaging equipment and associated technology Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic EHR and imaging software systems Collaborate with emergency and radiology teams to ensure effective patient care and workflow Adhere to all safety, compliance, and infection control protocols
