Job Description

Category Imaging - Mammography Job Type Contract Advance your expertise in diagnostic imaging by contributing as a highly skilled Mammo Tech for a 13-week contract role. This opportunity focuses on delivering superior mammography services using advanced Hologic equipment in a dynamic clinical setting.
Schedule:
4x10-hour day shifts Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday No call or weekend shifts required
Qualifications:
Certification in Mammography (ARRT(M)) required Active Rhode Island state radiologic technologist license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous experience operating Hologic mammography systems strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow imaging protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with optimal image quality while ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate and maintain all Hologic mammography equipment according to facility standards Accurately document patient information and imaging findings within the electronic medical record system Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns with professionalism and empathy Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives This role offers the chance to work in an engaging environment with a dedicated healthcare team.
