Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your career in diagnostic imaging as a skilled CT Technologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize your expertise in computed tomography in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Your proficiency in operating advanced CT equipment and delivering high-quality imaging will play a critical role in supporting patient care and diagnosis.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent) Demonstrated experience performing CT imaging procedures Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles Working knowledge of PACS and hospital information systems Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams Current BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialized CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Operate CT equipment, monitor images for quality, and make technical adjustments as needed Document examinations, maintain accurate patient records, and verify proper order completion Collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians to facilitate timely, accurate diagnoses Employ proper infection control and equipment maintenance practices Educate patients regarding procedures and address any concerns or questions
