Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to established protocols to ensure accurate diagnostic images. Operate MRI equipment efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort. Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to achieve desired imaging outcomes. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Monitor equipment performance, reporting any technical issues promptly to ensure continuous workflow. Uphold infection control standards and follow facility policies for a safe and welcoming environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of accredited MRI technologist program. Active certification as MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Current licensing as required by state regulations. Proven experience with MRI technology, emphasizing strong technical and patient care skills. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting.
