This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive healthcare environment, ensuring accurate imaging services that play a critical part in patient care and diagnosis.
Key Qualifications:
Registered CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) certification, with unrestricted credentials Demonstrated proficiency performing CT scans and operating computed tomography equipment Experience following physician protocols and safety procedures Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and proper patient positioning Ability to communicate clearly with patients and the healthcare team Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting preferred Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Ensure safety standards are met for patients and colleagues, including preparing patients and working with radiologists if needed Accurately process images for review, ensuring clear documentation and timely updates to medical records Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to support effective and efficient imaging care Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and report any malfunctions Provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring a positive experience If you have the necessary qualifications and are ready for a new challenge as a CT Tech, your skills can make a meaningful impact here.
