8:30 AM-4:30 PM No Fridays Position Overview We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a temporary 6-8 week assignment in Ladson, SC. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in a busy outpatient clinical environment. ARRT certification is required. Typical Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians Obtain high-quality radiographic images while following established protocols Position patients appropriately for various X-ray procedures Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance as needed Verify patient information and ensure the correct exam is performed Follow radiation safety procedures and ALARA principles Operate and maintain X-ray equipment appropriately Evaluate images for proper positioning and image quality before submission Upload and appropriately document images in the electronic medical record/PACS Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation Follow infection control and patient safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging area Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff Assist with imaging needs related to musculoskeletal and spine conditions commonly treated in a pain management setting Perform other duties related to diagnostic imaging as assigned Qualifications Current ARRT certification required Previous experience as an X-Ray Technologist required Outpatient, orthopedic, pain management, or similar clinical experience preferred Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to accurately follow imaging protocols Dependable and punctual Professional demeanor and positive attitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be available for the entire 6-8 week assignment Schedule & Compensation Monday-Thursday | 8:30 AM-4:30 PM No Fridays $40-$45/hour, depending on experience This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced X-Ray Technologist looking for a short-term assignment with a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule.
