Job Description

HCA Healthcare is seeking a skilled PET CT Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality PET/CT imaging studies, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards. You'll collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and patient-centered care. Responsibilities Perform high-quality PET/CT exams according to physician orders and HCA Healthcare protocols Verify patient identity, review histories, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents following radiation safety standards Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions Optimize image quality and troubleshoot equipment or image artifacts Accurately document procedures and upload studies to

systems Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support accurate diagnoses Maintain regulatory compliance, QA standards, and radiation safety logs Support onboarding and mentoring of technologists and students Demonstrate HCA values of compassion, integrity, and patient-centered care Required Skills PET/CT scanning Radiologic imaging protocols Radiation safety Patient positioning IV injection and contrast administration Image quality control
