Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in medical imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, using advanced computed tomography (CT) technology to provide crucial diagnostic insights. You will play an integral role assisting physicians by producing high-quality CT images and ensuring optimal patient care throughout each procedure.
Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images based on physician orders Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures to minimize discomfort or anxiety Review images for clarity and quality before submission to radiologists Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality standards Monitor equipment performance and arrange maintenance as necessary Follow all safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from radiation exposure Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Adapt procedures for special or emergency situations as needed
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) (CT) certification required Active state license in radiologic technology Proven experience working as a CT Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and safety protocols Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team Detail-oriented with commitment to producing precise images This contract opportunity provides the chance to expand your skills in a supportive and technology-driven environment dedicated to delivering the best possible patient outcomes.
