Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Deliver critical imaging support and diagnostic excellence as an IR Tech in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role focuses on providing advanced interventional radiology services, ensuring safe and effective imaging procedures for a diverse patient population. Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Specialized training and experience in Interventional Radiology (IR Tech) Valid state license in Radiologic Technology, or eligibility to obtain Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and interventional procedures Proficient with IR equipment, safety procedures, and sterile technique Excellent communication and critical thinking skills BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable
Schedule:
Contract position; full-time hours Shifts and scheduling details to be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures in accordance with physician instructions and protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort Operate a variety of imaging and monitoring equipment, maintaining high-quality images and patient records Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and proper equipment maintenance Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive patient care Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, supplies, and patient interactions
