1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification. Details Level III Trauma facility with 286 staffed beds MRI Tech unit 5x8 hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday Possible weekend work if assigned to on-call rotation On-call rotation required among staff members, weekdays 6 PM-5:30 AM and weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM No floating required between units or sister facilities Uses Philips MRI equipment Charting completed in Epic Requirements Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required BLS certification required ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required License required if applicable AHA certifications only accepted Philips equipment experience required No radiation badge required Additional Information First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed All requested time off must be submitted for approval and is subject to facility needs Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks Scrub requirement includes black pants and a teal top Free parking available on-site During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
