Contract We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform routine and emergent diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols, radiation safety standards, and patient care guidelines. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergent diagnostic X-ray procedures using fixed and portable equipment. Perform routine and emergent CT examinations. Adjust exposure settings and patient positioning to obtain high-quality images. Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure and maximize patient safety. Process images through PACS for radiologist review. Complete exams according to radiologist protocols. Document procedures, charges, and patient information in electronic medical records. Assist patients with CT contrast media administration. Schedule patients for X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, DXA, and Holter Monitor appointments. Participate in equipment, radiation, and patient safety quality-control procedures. Ensure exams are completed accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff. Participate in rotating weekend and call coverage. Requirements R.T.(R)(ARRT) required Active/current credentials required. 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred. Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation physics, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to work independently and manage both CT and X-ray responsibilities.
