Full Job Description Role Overview:

Responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians, performing routine procedures according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients and adjust MRI equipment; position and instruct patients; administer IV contrast media competency. Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently, coordinating schedules and assessing exam completion. Assist with staff and student training, orientation, and MRI class preparation. Maintain and document records for patient, equipment, and departmental data, ensuring compliance with accreditation and safety standards. Consult with radiologists and physicians on exam details and protocols; monitor patient condition during contrast injections. Research lab data and ensure proper IV access and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate's degree or equivalent from a recognized radiologic or technical program. ARRT certification in Radiography; MR certification preferred. Within less than 1 year: thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, anatomy, and procedures. Strong communication, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
