Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Specialty imaging professionals with expertise in CT are sought for a dynamic healthcare setting requiring strong clinical skills and adaptability in a contract capacity. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency populations, utilizing a Phillips 64 Slice CT unit, and may require floating to a nearby free-standing emergency department as needed.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.
Orientation dates available:
9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19.
Please note:
No time off will be granted between 9/19-10/17 due to an Epic system implementation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience, including prior travel assignments.
Certification required:
ARRT (CT) or ARDMS. Active BLS certification at the time of application. Proficient in CT imaging, IV insertion, point-of-care lab tests, and interventional IR procedures. Comfortable performing contract and non-contract studies on all patient age groups. Able to float to an affiliated free-standing ED location (within a 12-mile round trip) when needed. Professionalism in adhering to facility dress code (dark gray scrubs).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans for a variety of patient types, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient. Assist in interventional radiology and point-of-care procedures. Start IVs, perform contract and non-contract exams, and contribute to lab testing as required. Provide compassionate patient care and ensure safety standards. Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes and requirements, especially during Epic system go-live.
