X-ray/CT Technologist

•$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Full-time!
•Lincoln Medical Center is seeking an X-Ray/CT Tech (Radiology Technologist) to join our Radiology department in a full-time position. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience. The basic purpose of this position is to perform interpretive, patient care and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Responsibilities include various tasks concerning film/report management, secretarial duties, patient transportation, and darkroom technique, and the transmittal of films via the digitizer.
Essential Functions:
Accepts patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements. Explains and prepares patient for all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Relies on extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and effects of disease processes to properly and safely position the patient for maximum diagnostic yield. Operate highly complex radiographic equipment within the radiology department, operating suites and at the patient's bedside, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs using the
A.L.A.R.A.
(as low as reasonable achievable) standards. Maintains radiographic equipment and x-ray rooms in proper working conditions. Performs various clerical duties, but not limited to: verification of information and exams performed, update and change exam descriptions to reflect actual exams performed when verifying, ensure correct billing of patient accounts. Assist with examination of higher complexity such as arteriography, myelography, etc.
X-Ray/CT Tech Position Details:
Full-Time Weekend Day Shift Saturday, Sunday & Monday 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Weekend Shift Differential X-Ray/CT Tech Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT registered CPR certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required
