Qualifications Current Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license/certificate in good standing required. Current ARRT (R) certification and registration required. ARRT (CT) certification and registration required or strongly preferred. ARRT (MR) certification and registration preferred if MRI coverage is part of the position; strong MRI experience may also be considered depending on facility needs. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Multimodality Technologist preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, patient positioning, diagnostic imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient care standards. Proficiency with imaging equipment, imaging software, PACS/RIS systems, and electronic medical records preferred. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and ability to work independently. Commitment to compassionate patient care, confidentiality, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Perform or assist with MRI and X-ray imaging workflows based on experience, certification, and facility needs. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality, image quality, and compliance with facility standards. Verify imaging orders, patient information, and procedure details before performing exams.
