1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 1 year of recent experience for a 13-week evening shift assignment in Brownsville, TX. Details Radiology department in a 214-bed acute care hospital Very busy department requiring 24/7 coverage with a team of 11 technologists Procedures include all standard X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging GE imaging equipment used on-site Meditech EMR system Monday through Friday, evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Weekend shifts may be required depending on scheduling needs Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology technologist experience (allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months) Active ARRT registry required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) License required if applicable US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Bilingual candidates are preferred and will be given priority consideration Scrubs must be hunter green Team-oriented candidates are the best fit for this department
