As a CT Technologist, you will work PRN shifts, providing critical diagnostic imaging services that support our comprehensive range of healthcare services. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a dedication to patient safety. Responsibilities Operate CT imaging equipment to produce images that meet the required medical standards. Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Adjust CT equipment and select proper imaging techniques to minimize radiation exposure. Review resulting images for quality and coverage required by the attending physicians. Maintain patient records and imaging data in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to discuss diagnostic imaging and patient care. Manage imaging equipment, including performing regular checks and reporting maintenance needs. Required Skills Proficient in operating CT imaging equipment Ability to interpret physicians' instructions Knowledge of radiology safety and protection practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Efficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload Experience with digital imaging software
