McKinney, TX Work Hours:

Full-Time,Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, occasionally 7:00am-3:30pm. (One Saturday shift required every other month) The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

School of Radiologic Technology Continuing Education:

MQSA/FDA- 15

CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years. Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred. A Day in the Life of a

Mammography Technologist:

Provide services and support for the following areas: Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography; ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible; Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT; High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred; Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location; Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred; Two years of experience in mammography is preferred; Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred; Prior quality control experience preferred; Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology; Why Solis Mammography?
