Job Summary The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
Licenses & Certifications:
Cert Medical Radiologic Techby the Texas Medical Board (TMB) Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program Cert Computed Tomography Tech by the
ARRT Work Experience:
Two (2) years experience in Radiological Imaging preferred
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /
Correspondence Proficiencies:
P.C., MS
Word, MS Excel Job Attributes Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Analytical, Medical Terms Work Schedule:
Weekends, Flexible, On Call Equipment Operated:
CT Scanner, contrast injector, EMR, iStat/Glucometer, and other related clinical equipment
