1 Description American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience and strong prior travel assignment experience for an evening shift role. Details Hospital-based MRI department Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma, and pediatric acute/outpatient work settings Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM On-call required every other week from Friday end of shift through Monday 7:00 AM Performs abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI studies Special imaging procedures include MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, gradient echo, and post-processing techniques Utilizes Siemens, GE, and Philips MRI equipment along with PACS Cerner charting system experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required Strong prior travel assignment experience required ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted BLS certification required License required if applicable Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols Proficiency in surface coil usage, T1/T2 weighted imaging, and MIP/MPR reconstruction techniques Additional Information Perform MRI imaging across abdominal, neurological, chest, spinal, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular studies Conduct specialized procedures including MR angiography and venography of multiple body regions Some holiday coverage expected RTO must be submitted for consideration Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility; local candidates within this radius are not accepted On-site drug screen conducted upon arrival, including testing for marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation Candidates should avoid substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products, prior to arrival
