CT Tech CT Technologist in American Fork, UT Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 American Fork, UT Job Details Full-time | Contract $3,354 - $3,536 a week 1 day ago Qualifications Diagnostic imaging equipment Full Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in CT imaging. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality computed tomography scans to aid in the diagnosis and care of patients. Working within a supportive healthcare environment, you will collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic scans according to physician orders and department protocols. Position patients appropriately to ensure optimal image quality. Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging procedure, following all safety guidelines. Prepare and administer contrast agents under supervision, adhering to best practices. Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures. Inspect and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions as necessary. Uphold principles of infection control and patient confidentiality at all times.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent modality-specific credential. Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program. Previous experience performing CT scans in a clinical or hospital setting. Proficient with CT technology and familiarity with
PACS/RIS
systems. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
