Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT scans following established imaging protocols Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort Apply radiation safety principles and optimize dose for each exam Administer or assist with IV contrast according to policy and orders Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support diagnostic decisions Verify patient identity, history, and orders; document accurately in the EHRMaintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families Support continuous improvement, training, and workflow efficiency initiatives Required Skills Computed Tomography (CT) imaging Radiation safety and dose optimization Patient positioning and immobilization IV contrast administration Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge PACS and RIS operation Exam protocols and image quality control Infection prevention and control Emergency response in imaging suite Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
