Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols. Verify patient identity, obtain history, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Apply radiation safety principles, optimizing dose while maintaining diagnostic image quality. Administer IV contrast agents, monitor for adverse reactions, and document accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely diagnoses and treatment plans. Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment; report issues and support quality control processes. Accurately document exams in PACS/RIS and EMR systems following department standards. Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
