$46.25/hour Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our healthcare team in Arlington, VA on a per-diem basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and compliance with established protocols. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and understanding. Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently. Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Follow radiation safety standards and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Review images for quality and completeness before submission to physicians. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions promptly. Required Qualifications Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable). Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum of one year of recent Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
