We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) to join our team at our busy ambulatory surgery center. The Radiologic Technologist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to surgical patients while working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Experience with intraoperative imaging and C-arm equipment is strongly preferred. Essential Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and intraoperative X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Operate mobile C-arm and other radiographic equipment safely and effectively during surgical procedures. Assist surgical staff with appropriate positioning and imaging during orthopedic, spine, pain management, and other procedures. Obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff. Follow all radiation safety practices, including appropriate use of shielding and exposure precautions. Verify patient identification, procedure, and imaging requirements prior to examinations. Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records. Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. Maintain compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and applicable accreditation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and members of the surgical team. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as required. Assist with other radiology or surgical center duties within the scope of practice. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification in Radiography. Current state licensure or certification as required. Current BLS certification . Previous experience in an operating room, ambulatory surgery center, or hospital surgical setting preferred. Experience operating a C-arm or other mobile fluoroscopy equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to assist with patient positioning and safely move imaging equipment. Ability to lift, push, and maneuver equipment and assist with patient transfers as required. Ability to work in an operating-room environment and wear required personal protective equipment.
