Qualifications and Experience:
Certified and registered as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proven experience performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures Proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment used in vascular and non-vascular interventions Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control standards in an imaging environment Excellent communication and patient care skills with a collaborative approach to working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Assist physicians during image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-procedural care Maintain accurate patient documentation and records according to regulatory standards and department protocols Monitor inventory of supplies, ensuring necessary materials and equipment are available and ready for each procedure Consistently uphold patient confidentiality and foster a comforting environment throughout every encounter By leveraging your detailed procedural knowledge and technical skills, you will directly impact diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes for patients requiring interventional radiology.
