Come be a part of our team in the following cities: Charlottesville, VA Harrisonburg, VA •Sign-On Bonus offered to eligible candidates• Overview We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologists (RT) and Limited Scope Radiology Technologists (LSRT) to join our Urgent Care locations. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal RT candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques and demonstrate proficiency in basic diagnostic X-rays in an urgent care setting, including patient positioning, image capture, radiation safety, and quality review, while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT (must be registered within 90 days of hire). Licensed Rad Tech (RT)/Limited Scope Rad Tech (LSRT) required for staff employed in Virginia. Duties Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Ensure patient safety by following proper aseptic techniques, radiation safety standards, and infection control procedures. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns or questions. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed, including technical details and patient information. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate diagnostic evaluation and ensure high-quality imaging results. Stay current with technological advancements in medical imaging modalities to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experience Strong knowledge of general diagnostic X-ray imaging, patient positioning, anatomy, and image quality standards. Proficient in operating radiology equipment and electronic imaging systems with accuracy and attention to detail. Skilled in radiation safety practices, infection control, aseptic technique, and patient safety protocols. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced urgent care or outpatient setting while maintaining quality and professionalism. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and help patients feel comfortable during imaging exams. Excellent organization and documentation skills, including accurate use of radiology systems and departmental workflows.
