Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as a skilled imaging professional, focusing on CT and CT/PET scans. This contracted opportunity is ideal for those with specialized expertise who are committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and calibrate CT and PET/CT imaging equipment to ensure clear, precise diagnostic images Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines for radiologic procedures Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and answer questions to ensure patient comfort Assess image quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation Document procedures, maintain patient records, and manage imaging data securely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment to comply with infection control standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or registry as a CT Technologist (ARRT or NMTCB) Previous experience in both CT and PET/CT modalities Strong knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional imaging, and radiology protocols Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems Current BLS or CPR certification Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under minimal supervision Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and medical staff
