- Performs radiological diagnostic procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.
- Prepares patient for the procedure, gathering relevant information for documentation & scanning. (orders, questionnaires, consents)
- Operates diagnostic equipment safely maintaining awareness of ALARA standards while performing procedures.
- Performs radiological diagnostic procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.
- Is aware and practices procedures consistent with Radiation Right protocols to include Radiation monitoring of equipment and exposure documentation.
- Practices radiation safety in radiography of patients.
