Responsibilities Include:
Operate and maintain CT and PET/CT equipment, ensuring optimal image quality. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by referring clinicians. Prepare patients for exams while explaining procedures to ensure comfort. Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with all guidelines. Work collaboratively with radiologists and multi-disciplinary care teams. Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information. Assist in quality improvement initiatives as part of routine duties.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography; advanced CT and/or PET certification required. Minimum of one year experience as a CT or PET/CT Technologist in a clinical setting. Proficient with complex imaging protocols and troubleshooting. Strong communication and patient care abilities. Ability to adapt in fast-paced, changing healthcare environments. Current state licensure or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
